What is Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma Fibroblast is a skin tightening treatment that uses a mild superficial controlled arc of energy to induce a shrinking effect. This helps the skin restore structural proteins which can repair natural elasticity.

As we age, our bodies produce less of these proteins, making our skin more prone to fine lines and wrinkles. Plasma Fibroblast can create a response within the body to increase the production of collagen and elastin.

Results can include firmer, tighter skin, and diminished wrinkles and fine lines. Treat eyelids, crows feet, lip lines, laugh lines, and more!

How long does it take to heal?

There will be tiny dots on your skin which take about a week to heal and fall off. Swelling, puffiness, burning sensation, and redness is normal. It is important to stay out of the sun, not to sweat or go in the pool or hot tub for 2 weeks.

Who is it for?

This procedure is for men and women with fitzpatrick 1-4, meaning it best for clients with light pigment tones. Plasma fibroblast can leave dark spots on clients with darker skin tones.

Also, it is not suggested for clients with certain medical conditions.

How do I take care of it?

FOR 2 WEEKS

-Typical total healing time for scabs to fall off and skin to be closed is 2 weeks. Please plan 2 weeks with no makeup or activities that involve sun, chlorine, sweating, excessive heat, or important events that include taking pictures.

-Skin can take up to a month to heal on a subdermal level and for the pink/red marks to fade after the scabs come off.

-Keep all harsh  cleansers away from treatment area. Many contain alcohol which will burn and inhibit proper healing, and may burn the area.

-Cleanse with clean cool water pat dry gently

-NO makeup/ swimming/ sun/ sweating/ steam / heat

-Keep area dry

-No vaseline, petroleum based products, or oils that provide a barrier. We want your skin to breath and to not trap bacteria or moisture.

Day 1-3

-Apply pure organic 99% aloe vera, aloe vera from a natural plant every couple of hours throughout the day, alternating with antibiotic cream such as Neosporin.

-Ice the area throughout the day to reduce symptoms.

-Procedure area is subject to swelling, redness, tenderness, and scabbing.

Day 3-4

-Inflammation and swelling should go down by the third day or so, remember everyone’s healing is different.

-Continue to apply aloe and antibiotic ointment several times a day.

Day 5-14

- Scabs will start to fall off. Do not pick them.

-Treat the area with pure vitamin E oil, and/ or a natural pigmentation lightening serum to help prevent pigmentation. Alternate with

antibiotic cream.

-Please do not use makeup until the scabs fall off

Day 14 - 60 days

-Do not use harsh products with glycolics, salicylic, lactic, or retinols. These products are usually in anti aging and acne products.

-Do not do any chemical peels or professional skin treatments for up to three months

-Fibroblast cells take around three months to heal and produce more collagen. **The magic is in the healing**

-Please use sunblock when outside

Skin Pigmentation

Plasma Fibroblast can cause pigmentation in the skin.  Because it treats the top layers of the skin, it can leave dark spots behind. If you have darker skin, tan easily, or prone to pigmentation, let's do a patch test behind your ear before we do a large area.

We must wait 3 weeks after the patch test to see if pigmentation will occur. Text or call me for any more questions, or book a patch test. Patch tests do have a cost of $30.

Questionnaire that is required to be answered before booking:

Do you sun burn easily?
