WORKING WITH ME

My name is Emily Dear

My views on education in the beauty industry

I have taken many classes since I started my beauty career as an esthetician in 2009. One thing I have learned is that doing services and teaching are two separate skills that are not to be taken lightly.

I find it challenging and part of the fun to get to know your learning style and how to support you as an individual.

In the permanent makeup industry, there are no requirements for what is taught in the 6 month apprenticeship. As a mentor, I take this seriously. I want you to be educated and skilled when being responsible for tattooing a person's face. This is a big deal!

My goal is for your clients to be happy with their service, and for you to feel the confidence in helping people feel their best selves.

The key to perfecting a skill is to take your time with the basics before learning the next layer. Patience is necessary. Audio, visual, and practical learning will be applied. Tests, homework, and performance reviews will be applied but this is what will make you a great NANO BROW artist.
